Geocache Description:

This is the Third in the series of Lord of the Rings landscape/ scenery inspired caches.

Welcome to my collection of  "Lord of the Rings" themed caches.

This is the third in a chain of Landscape or architecture inspired caches. I will be placing caches in places I feel are similar to scenes in the movies but are located here in Ireland instead of New Zealand where it was filmed. Ireland and New Zealand have very similar climates and very similar landscapes.

From travelling alot around Ireland I have seen many similarities in landscapes and locations, and by using these caches I hope to bring you to some of these places and hopefully you will see similarities aswell.

Happy Caching!

Finding the Cache:

At the above co-ordinates you will find a Hobbit's House, in order to find this cache and sign the log you need to get the following numbers from Stage 1:

A: How many vertical planks of wood make up the front door?

B: How many windows has the house in total?

C: How many BRICKS run across the top of the house? (where gutter would normally be)

D: How many chimneys are there?

E: How many telephone poles are within 2m of the house?

F: What Speed limit can you see from the house? ( 2 digit number)

G: How many signs are visible that have the speed limit written on it?

H: How many 1/2 bricks are in the ARCHES above the windows and doors?

Getting the final co-ordinates:

N52 54. ([H-B] x C)+(C-H)

W006 50. ([F x G] - D) - (A + G)

Please post a picture of you or your group at the hobbit's house!
