This is a cache to mark the event held to celebrate Gordon Patrick Samuel's 1,000 cache find. We began caching at the nearby Swing Bridge cache (GC2EA0) on 17th March, 2002. It has taken us just over eleven years to log our one thousandth cache!
To find the cache container you must do the following calculation to the given coordinates. Count the number of characters on the first (A), second (B) and third (C) lines of the sign. Calculate A*B-4 and subtract it from the given South co-ordinates. Calculate 10*C-2 and subtract it from the East co-ordinates.
