[LT] Legendos byloja, kad maždaug prieš 45 metus Vingio parko apylinkėse gyveno labai talentingas inžinierius. Jo vardas, deja, pasimetė istoriniuose archyvuose, tačiau yra pasakojama, kad jis buvo savų laikų genijumi. Tarybinės valdžios užsakymu, inžinierius dirbo prie ypač slapto projekto - greitaeigės karinės valties, kodiniu pavadinimu "V-500", galinčios nuo Vilniaus iki Kauno nuplaukti vos per kelias valandas. Pakrantėje poilsiaujantys ar garlaiviu Nerimi keliaujantys liudininkai ne kartą kreipėsi į valdžią dėl žaibišku greičiu plaukiančio fantomo, tačiau viskas buvo dangstoma oro balionais, vandens paukščiais, plaukiojančiais rąstais ar panašiais, mažai tikėtinais objektais.

Kadangi bandymai vyko tik vasarą, inžinieriui reikėjo vietos, kurioje galėtų saugiai valtį paslėpti. Norėdamas apsaugoti ją nuo smalsaus jaunimo, vagių, pramoninių šnipų ir kitų muglių, o taip pat vengdamas didelių transportavimo išlaidų, jis netoli savo dirbtuvės sumeistravo metalinį valties garažą, kokio dar niekas pasaulyje nebuvo regėjęs. Nelaimei, visai netrukus inžinierius pasimirė ir valdžia projektą "V-500" uždarė. Visgi garažas, o kartu ir (kaip manoma) jame laikoma valtis išliko iki pat šių dienų. Daugybė šviesių protų bandė garažą atidaryti, tačiau nei jėga, nei miklūs pirštai nedavė jokių vaisių ir "V-500" paslaptis taip ir liko neįminta. Galbūt tą pavyks padaryti JUMS?

[EN] Legends say that 45 years ago somewhere in the vicinity of Vingis Park lived a very talented engineer. Sadly, his name was lost in historical records, however, it is said, that he was a pure genius of his time. Ordered by the Soviet government, the engineer worked on a top secret project - a very fast speedboat that could travel from Vilnius to Kaunas in less than few hours. Many witnesses that were resting on the banks of the river or traveling by steamboats saw this mysterious phantom but the government tried to cover all these stories with air balloons, water birds, floating logs, and other unlikely objects.

All the testing was done only during summer months and the engineer needed a reliable place to hide the boat. Trying to protect it from the curious youth, thieves, industrial spies and other muggles, also wanting to significantly decrease costs of transportation, the engineer designed a metal boat garage of no similarity to others. Unfortunately, he died soon after and the government canceled the "V-500" project. Nevertheless, the garage and (as it is believed) the speedboat has remained there till our days. A great number of brilliant minds tried to open the garage door, but neither force, nor nimble fingers gave any results, and the mistery of "V-500" remains unsolved. Maybe YOU will succeed?
