FDR by Horse ─ Deadwood's Wild Bill
hidden by: Joebids
James Butler Hickok (1837 – 1876), better known as Wild Bill Hickok, was a famous figure on the American Western frontier. Skilled as a gunfighter, scout and gambler, his service as a lawman in the rough frontier towns is the basis for his fame.
Wild Bill was assassinated by Jack McCall in the Nuttal & Mann's Saloon in Deadwood, Dakota Territory (which later became the state of South Dakota.) Playing cards at the time he was killed, a set of two eights and two aces like he held in his hands is now known as the "Dead Man's Hand."
Cache Description:
This is another Geocache hidden on the Horse Trail for your amusement. Be careful to not get ambushed here and definitely don't get caught with the "Dead Man's Hand".
