This cache was placed to commemorate the vintage Jet aircraft trainer called a CT-133. It also pays tribute to the Air Cadets that used to be part of Princeton, BC. The jet was in many pieces and had to be reassembled to the condition you see it in today.
Roy Harker, Hank Rabe and other local citizens worked on the plane over 2 years and created a weathervane mount for this CT-133. It spins quite effortlessly in the winds near the Princeton Airport.
It is a must visit roadside attraction but please be respectful of the efforts taken to achieve this monument.
