Head to San Jose's Little Italy, a collection of renovated and dilapidated River Street homes built by San Jose's Italian Immigrant community back in the 1870's. You'll take in the scenic Guadalupe Park trails located near the Shark Tank (HP Pavillon). If you come on a weekend this green space hosts lots of fun community events and runs so even if you can't go geocaching you'll still have fun!
Parking is convenient and close by on non-event days. If you can come by bike or bring your jogging shoes you'll enjoy the trip even more! To start the journey you'll need to hit the Gaudalupe Park River Trail that runs along Little Italy. When you see local hero Fran Dinapoli be sure to tip your cap and ask the best location to grow the Italian tomatoes he is so famous for. No need to step into private property to find this "Contenitore Giallo." Log this micro cache online or you'll need to bring a pen to sign on one of the limited spots.
