A tubular nano placed close to the River Chelt in a little-known stretch of park with a pleasant riverside walk. Contains logbook only, which may require geotweezers.
The Chelt is a very unassuming little river but there is a small weir close to the cache site and the riverside is an urban haven for birds, butterflies and wildflowers. The cache is on a paved footpath and you do not need to climb or lean over the railings or in any way come into contact with the River Chelt!
Pedestrian access to the park is possible from several points on Arle Road, Princess Elizabeth Way, Tewkesbury Road and Brooklyn Gardens, though all the gates are fairly narrow. None of the main roads are great for parking but there is a useful free car park off Tewkesbury Road.
Please note, the cache is now so tight in its hiding place it's much easier to leave it in situ and just extract the log!
**Congratulations to abdpg for FTF and Dr K and the Boofs for a very close STF! **
