Geocache Description:

Florida Welcomes You is a series of Geocaches located on the east side of the canal between the Allanburg Bridge and the Port Robinson ferry. You can park on the west side by the bridge at N 43° 04.572 W 079° 12.685. There is parking available on the east side by the Ferry dock at N 43° 04.225 W 079° 12.610

After doing the series you can catch the ferry and return along the paved Canal Parkway Trail. You can cache your way back to the Allanburg Bridge parking lot.

Who would think that bison & wild horses live in Florida, well they do at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park.
The Plains Bison were reintroduced to the park from Oklahoma in the mid 1970s, as part of the park service goal of restoring Florida's natural resources to pre-European settler conditions; they roamed this area until the early 19th century. Over 270 species of birds can be seen in the park as well as American Alligators and small herds of Florida Cracker Horses and Florida Cracker cattle, first herded by the Seminole.
