Geocache Description:

Cruise a rustic backroad.   NOTE**THIS ROAD IS IMPASSABLE AFTER A RAIN!!

I noticed a few goose berries as I placed the cache, hence the name.  The berries are about the size of a blueberry and ripen around late July or August.   They will ripen from a green to a purplish color.  Sour and tart when green but a slight sweeter taste when ripe.  As a kid growing up on a farm with a creek running thru it, we would pick them now and then and my mother would make a gooseberry pie.  It takes a lot of time and effort and the gooseberries have small stickery thorns on the woody stems.  I think that made the pie taste better.
