Stone Mountain is a great park and a great place for Geocaching. There are some parts however that could use some cleanup. We've partnered with the Stone Mountain management to organize a CITO here. Geocachers who attend can gain FREE admission into the park if they mention that they are here for the Geocaching event at the gate.
Please download, print and sign the waiver form listed in the "related web page" and bring it to the event.
We'll be focusing on the area between the grist mill to the covered bridge and the island. Bags will be provided but please bring your own gloves etc.
We'll meet in the parking area at the posted coords at 9:00 and finish up around lunch time.
Remember that to gain entry to the park without a pass, you'll need to tell the gate attendant that you're with the Geocaching group.
