This cache is placed in an area were my beautiful wife showed me a couple of years ago and we have enjoyed spending time at.
| Ever since Kim was a little girl she has referred to the area as Bear Creek for what ever reason that was what she called her "private getaway". May be it was just because she didn't want to be found or maybe just preferred Bear Creek over what ever the sign says. It was only after a couple of times being there did I ever notice that it is not named Bear Creek. Neverless it has always been a place to hang out, enjoy a beautiful day, have a picnic, out playing with the jet skis, Do a little fishing, go for a boat ride, just meet up with friends and family or just get away for a while. |
So when you go after this quick little cache, relax for a few, enjoy the view or maybe even bring a basket lunch. This area has a couple of grills and picnic tables, a dock and boat ramp. Come in, sit down, kick back for a few and just enjoy what is before you. Hours are dawn to dusk. Permission has been granted to place this cache by Jackson County parks and rec.
