This is number 56 in my ongoing series. This is dedicated to another player from a bygone era. Born in Cleland in Scotland 15.12.51. He began his career in 1968 playing for Morton before moving to Leeds, Manchester United and Milan amongst others. He became a hero in Scottish Football folklore when scoring the winning goal to aid Scotland to qualify for their first world cup in over 16 years. He is also the only Scotsman to score in three diferent world cup finals. He played in 52 caps and scored 11 goals.
