This cache is placed a short distance off East Brown Canyon Road. The road is private but owners allow use and may be busy on weekends. Beyond the homes the road becomes very rough requiring a stout 4x4 or ATV type vehicle. Parking is not allowed along the road until past the homes. It is best to hike the road. You may meet hikers and bikers.
The container is a two quart plastic jar painted gray. There is a path leading to the cache so there is no need to bushwhack or rock climb. You will notice other trails crossing the path to the cache so don't get confused getting back to the road. As always, be cautious of high desert poking plants and critters such as snakes. The road is a portion of a 5 mile loop and leads you into Brown Canyon and the Brown Canyon Ranch and is very popular with hikers and mountain bikers.
