Cache is NOT accessible on foot. You will need a canoe, kayak, or other shallow draft vessel. NO MOTORS PLEASE. Cache is in a custom cache container that I made. No room for a signing tool, so bring your own. When you've spotted it, you'll know you've found it.
When you arrive at the cache youll be able to see a HUGE beaver dam and lodge. Don't get too close, no need to upset the beavers, or the goose that has nested atop the lodge. I placed this cache to draw attention to a section of Muddy Creek that doesnt get a lot of attention. I hope you enjoy the journey. Completeing this cache and te one upstream (Message in a Bottle) will take you on a half mile round trip . At times, this will seem like a quick jaunt, but water levels and vegetation can make this a daunting task. Hope you find your way.
Please take a second or two to pick up any floating trash you may find along your treck. And most of all, HAVE FUN!!! Enjoy the view.
