Geocache Description:

Geo-husband and I have newly moved to Kallangur. What better way to get to know the area is to go exploring to seek out a suitable hiding place for a Geocache. This is a beautiful park and pathway. Take a walk and enjoy all the birds. During nesting season you can often see water hen and duck nests in the creek near the bridge on Duffield Rd.

Happy hunting.

Park your Geo-car on Arrakune Cres, follow the path between the houses, turn left for a little walk. It's located in the middle of a clump of large trees.

Note, you could park on Orchid Ave for access, however you would need to walk up to the roundabout, up Duffiled Rd and then along the path. There is a creek and you cannot cross the park from Orchid Ave (unless you can swim).

Being in a park and near a waterway I suggest you bring the mozzie spray. I'M NOT KIDDING!

You're looking for a largísh 1.5lt Sistema container, painted camouflage.

Please keep it well stocked with swaps, nothing more frustrating than going to find a Geocache and it's empty. I have started it off quite full of all sorts of goodies.

This area has miles and miles of beautiful walking tracks and paths, take your time and enjoy.

There are nearby places for the Geo-kiddies to have a play, follow the path to the right, (after you've found the Geocache of course) over near Allison Dr there is a play centre there. Or the other direction, crossing Duffiled Rd (opp the roundabout on Duffield Rd and Orchid Ave) there is another play area. Bring the Geo-hound as I'm sure they will enjoy the walk too.
