Cache is an Ammo box just off trail.
Parking available at first picnic area off Carr Canyon road. Approximately 1.6 miles from the highway. Elevation is about 5129 at the cache site.
A nice hike on a trail through the Manzanita. Manzanita trees/shrubs are abundant here. They have a smooth reddish bark that I have always found so unusual and pretty.
