Traditional cache on the shores of Lake Ruataniwha
This is a simple cache located on part of the walkway that goes around Twizel.
At the cache location there are great views of Lake Ruataniwha and the start of the rowing course. During rowing comps you have a good position for the start of the races. The lakeside section of the walkway starts nearby and is a very pleasant stroll through the pines. When the cache was placed there were also a lot of multicoloured toadstools along the walk.
If you park at the given waypoint then cut across open ground to the track down to the cache location.
Cache is a 200ml clear sistema with logbook only so BYO pen.
