This cache is totally dedicated to my dad, who lost his battle with cancer on November 25, 2012. As a child, I remember looking forward to the last day of school because it meant the opening day for long days fishing with Daddy!!! He would take us out to the KY River on his boat, where we would fish, then swim on the rocky bars, then fish some more...the good old days!!! :)
You will be parking in the grass along the Northbound side of US HWY 127, very close to the guardrail...yet the cache is past the guardrail, approximately 20 steps from the road, behind a tree. If you are Goecaching with children, please keep them close to you as this cache is located in a spot very close to the main road. You are looking for a medium sized camo tube affixed to a pole behind a tree. Remember the name of the cache while trying to retrieve the log, as the cache is fixed to the pole and can not and should not be removed. Have fun fishing with my dad for a breif moment today!!! I have placed a trackable in the cache for the first to find. Happy Hunting!!!
