At The Beech Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The area this cache is placed in is usually an ideal location for finding both fallow and red deer. It's also good for a variety of birdlife including waterfowl, raptors and nightjars on summer evenings. The area is very popular with dog walkers and cyclists all year round and VERY popular with those wishing to watch the deer rut in the autumn. So beware of muggles. We have had many wonderful walks in this location and it never, ever fails to please or throw up wonderful natural delights.
Please be very careful when going for this cache as there is a river involved and the area can flood, especially after heavy rain. No cache is worth putting yourself in harms way.
The cache is a small camouflaged lock box with a variety of swaps and an FTF badge for the lucky person getting there first.
There are a couple of ways to approach this cache but we have put a waypoint in for the most convenient car park.
Cache placed in accordance with the GAGB New Forest guidelines. Please note there is no night caching allowed in the New Forest. Congratulations SeekingSalters - FTF
