Situated on a bend in the Myakka about half way between the upper lake and the bridge--easily accessed by kayak, but also can be walked to quickly. Be aware that in the rainy season this is very challenging!
You can either access this by boat or walk- its only about a ten minute walk from the Power line entrance. This one was inspired by another I had seen......its a fun cache and a good sized cache. Please make sure the lid is on securely. This is a very scenic spot- you will see that Gators love this area as you look at the river! Please re-hide the cache properly so the next cacher can enjoy the fun! Also, please record your trackables---the best wireless reception area in the park in the open area (wetlands) which is along the road as you approach the airboat ride spot.
