Bay Watch - Big Fishy, Little Fishy

Bay Watch caches are a series of caches along Falmouth sea front (more are in progress). In summer time and good weather these cache sites can get busy so stealth is required. You will need tweezers.
Just off the coast, just a few meters from here is where I first saw a basking shark with my 8 year old daughter a few years ago. I have not seen one since. I was amazed at how long it was and how close to shore it was too. The basking shark is the second largest living fish, after the whale shark, and is one of three plankton-eating sharks, the other two being the whale shark and the megamouth. Despite their large size and threatening appearance, basking sharks are not aggressive and are generally harmless to people.
