It was a beautiful day for a canoe trip along the Black Creek, which made for a perfect excuse to hide some caches!
This series is designed to be found using a canoe or kayak, so take that into consideration when attempting to find these, as there are no visible trails and much of the area is marshy...
We decided to hide a few caches along this creek, so some cachers could have a good excuse to use their canoes and/or kayaks!
You are looking for camoflagued pill bottles, log only, bring your own writing utensile. Some of these were hidden right from our canoe, and some will require getting out of your boat. Only one requires a very short walk to get the cache, all the rest will be within a few feet of the water OR can be reached without getting out!
We had very little trouble getting the canoe thru this section of the creek, and kayaks should fare even easier.
Have fun, be safe, and do not attempt if your abilities are not up to the task.
