Geocache Description:

Looks like this cemetery started out as a family cemetery and later grew to be a community cemetery.

This cemetery is not far off of the highway. After entering the cemetery look to the left at the hand hewn stone furniture. There are two chairs and a bird bath or a flower container on a rock pedestal. All located near the Featherston graves. This is a very well kept place of solitude. Look for three graves inside the concrete block wall, the little girl was killed in the worst school tornado in Oklahoma. The school was the Vireton School about 12 miles southwest near the Elm Point Park. Floy McFall (Aug 1, 1911 - Jan 4, 1917) 1911 - 1917 Floy McFall (buried in Featherston Cemetery, Ok) Floy was the daughter of J.A. & J.A. McFall.
