Time to pay our tribute to Clay and Gus for the terrific E.T. trail.
We are a Swedish team consisting of Hallén, Ingabo, joy.se and TMR68.
We logged all caches as HIJT during our three day visit to the trail.
We have had a wondeful time out in the deserts with great weather and a huge amount of great caches to find. We also tried to do our part of the maintenance work where due including placing new containers and logg strips. Our main goal with our US trip was this cache series.
So many, many thanks to Clay and Gus for having spent so much time and effort on this series !
We thus want to bring a special gift for the next visitor to this tribute cache by donating a small FTF price. In the cache, on the logg strip, you will find coordinates to the gift but they are also available on this page as an extra waypoint. The gift itself consists of a complete 5 gallon plastic container for gas or diesel which only has been used at one occasion as a spare measure for not running out of petrol. It is complete and in mint condition. Of course it is empty so there is no gas in it !
We took measures so that it will not be found by any occasional visitor and placed it at a lovely view point not far from this cache. So you might take a small stroll to it keeping you fit too, unless you have a suitable vehicle.
Please note in your logg if you have been taking the FTF price or not so that the next visitor knows if it is still there or not !!
The small climb uphill is definitely worth the effort anyhow but it is good to know what to expect at site.
