Walking the Diamond Creek trail, we once walked the path through this area and found a lot of rabbits - much to the children's delight! Since then they have called this area 'Rabbit Way'. The number of rabbits in the area can vary quite a bit however
This area can get quite busy with people walking dogs or just passing through but the cache is hidden away from easy view of houses.
Unfortunately there is a bit of litter around but we hope you will enjoy the area, and the rabbits, anyway.
The cache is a painted 400ml Sistema container. It contains some swaps and a log book. Please ensure the cache is well concealed when leaving.
WARNINGS: Please note that there are natural hazards in the area as the creek is nearby. Please keep geokids by your side at all times if you attempt this cache with children. The slope near the cache can also be slippery whether dry or wet so a little care is needed. Every once in a while rabbit control is undertaken in the area for a few days - if the signs are out stating this is taking place, as a precaution, we don't recommend going after this cache.
Please note that the cache is NOT down a rabbit hole.
This is the second cache in a series of four that we have placed along a pathway that combines a nice walk with cache hunting. If you want to do these caches in a group, we suggest the following order:
1/ Short Park Adventure.
2/ Rabbit Way.
3/ Crossing Over.
4/ On the Banks of Diamond Creek.
Or start at #4 and work your way backwards.
