Blown Away by the Bay View Traditional Cache

Balayang: I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, rumpleteasers, requesting additional time.

Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned.

In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a small sistema with enough room for trackables and a few trinkets.

There is a logbook and a pencil, and several swaps for Geokids.

This is our very first cache that we have hidden.

Congratulations to Team Pathfinder for being the First to Find.

150 years ago you may have seen a pirate ship sneaking into this bay to smuggle rum.
50 years ago this peaceful bay was used by the farmers of Chapman Valley to build simple beach cottages like my Great Grandparents did.
Nowdays, you will often see large vessels, anchored, waiting for their turn in the Geraldton port and crayfishing boats going about their business, catching delicious Western Rock Lobsters for export and local sales.

Park your vehicle safely away from the busy highway and enjoy the walk to the Ground Zero.
