Cette chapelle de pur style roman, à nef unique avec abside en cul de four, fut construite au XII ème siècle sur l'emplacement d'un oppidum gallo-romain.Vouée au culte jusqu'au XV ème siècle, elle est tombée en ruine faute d'entretien.Du haut de ce promontoire, on aperçoit Taulignan.
