One of the unsung public works structures that dot our cities and towns, this is a public stairway connecting two levels of a Yonkers street.
As Navigator and I were looking for a spot to place this cache, a local resident came up to us and asked, "Are you looking for the white squirrel?" We've seen plenty of gray sqirrels, and lately black squirrels, but never a white one. He went on to say that this albino squirrel has been seen over the years by many, but as far as he knows, no one has managed to take a picture of it. He can be seen running around the area of the staircase, hence the name of the cache. Perhaps you'll see him as you conduct your search. There is a crisp ONE DOLLAR BILL in there for the FTF. (hint, hint)********** Congratulations to grschmid on FTF, who cut short his California trip just to find this cache (and grab that dollar)
