Geocache Description:

*** JAYMZ*BRONX FINDS 1,000!!! ***

Please be careful when seeking this cache. We recommend having a friend along. Remember there are no handrails here!

(Kudos to tonkaMN for the ammo can and paint job,
and a big THANK YOU to Blueirocguy for making room!)

We're not naming any names here on this page, but TheCachin8tor thought we should include a new attribute for some reason.

I don't know why. It's baffling, isn't it? Why would we need a "No Falling From Trees" attribute? Any idea, JAYMZ?
To claim a find, just find the cache and sign the log book.

"Inspired by a geo-junkie, Right here, JB, Skinny Creeper, Bronx-itis - I'm sure there's more. Maybe we need a new category "cache's named for me". How'd you get my number anyway - you creeper! Thanks for being you and getting me involved. Its been fun! Cache-on! And congrats!"

"JAYMZ*BRONX started out as Bronx10463 and also has an alias of GEO-JUNKIE. He became an official member of the geocache community May 29th, 2012. In Less than a year he has managed to find 1000 caches and hide 46 great caches. He has done far better than I have that's for sure. I met him shortly after finding one of his first hides in Ramsey "LOG ONLY!BYOP (GC3TCP6). We decided team up and set up a cache event for jandco2 and that's when I knew Jim had the geocaching fever (or as I am calling it from now on Bronx-itis). I even had the pleasure of selling him his first GPS! He is a great guy, a great cacher and a great hider. I am honored to be his geofriend. I am sure the next thousand will come as quickly as the first for this dedicated, or should I say addicted, cache-nut. He has mad a positive impact to the geocache community and we are all lucky to know him."

"It was a dark and stormy night. Wait, no it wasn't - it was a bright sunshiney day when we met a newbie called Bronx10463 at KB's "10 Years Ago..." event. Soon we started seeing his name in log books all over town, and you couldn't archive a cache without him hiding one to replace it. We've had the pleasure of several shared FTFs and regular old caching runs together. Now, many cache finds and many name changes later, the Man From New York is kind of a big deal around these parts. You've contributed a lot to the local caching community JAYMZ (mostly tough micros), and you've gotten pretty darn good at falling out of trees. We're happy to be here to help celebrate your milestone, here's to the next thousand!"

"When we heard there was going to be a tribute cache to The Geojunkie himself we knew we would have to step in and say a few words! We feel very honored to say this man who keeps his passion for geocaching on the down low found our cache "Hudson Moved" as his first cache and our cache "Rum River Park Challenge" as his 1000th! Bronx has jumped feet first, nose unplugged into this crazy sport and has literally helped revive the caching scene in the northern suburbs. His energy and dedication to the sport is contagious. He is all "Bronx" attitude and energy and all "Jaymz" midwest good guy! We expect many more years and milestones from you Bronx!"

PS- please note shameless plug for "yellowdogs" caches in preceding statement

"I first heard of this BRONX fellow when caching in the Corcoran area. It was when I first met up with Dana Marty. We were at a particularily hard hide and James had logged the find. We had searched for quite some time, checked out the logs and searched some more. Dana climbed the fence and several trees. She finally contacted James for an idea of the container we were looking for. It ended up being on the ground. Not long after I was searching for one of his hides only to DNF it and managed to get the cops called in on me as a suspicious person lurking in the trees. It took two or three tries before I managed to find that one. I believe the first meeting may have been his cache near the closed Lowes store in Rogers where several of us cachers gathered looking for a FTF. It was no where to be found. He arrived at the scene ready to heckle us only to find out that the coordinates were just a tad bit off. With his help we were able to log the find and he corrected the location. I now know to expect his hides to be on the tough side whether it is getting to the location or figuring out where/how he hid it. He has some very creative ideas and containers. Since that time we have cached together several times with the WNC and recently we were victorious in the FTF of the Joker cache that had eluded many. He is a great fellow and I am glad to call him my friend! Congrats to JAYMZ*BRONX on his amazing numbers!"
Sincerely,

"Jaymz is a great guy and has a knack at hiding some really fun (and sometimes downright evil) hides. I can't count how many times I have gone for one of his hides hoping for a FTF and end up walking away with a DNF instead. If I ever need someone to climb a tree for a cache...it's Jaymz*Bronx to the rescue. If I ever need to watch someone fall from a tree...it's him too. Thankfully he's got the ability to land on two feet (most of the time) and hardheaded enough to survive when he doesn't ;) Congrats on 1000! May your next 1K be just as eventful! (And hopefully less painful) Keep hiding & keep hunting!"

"Congrats to my little brother on his 1000th find!!! WOOHOO! He told me about Geocaching shortly after he started last year, I was intrigued so I started as well. We were running neck and neck in finds and all of a sudden he doubled then tripled the amount I had found...then we each started hiding...(we are about tied on that race)...Although we are across the country from each other ( I'm in Florida), we share a common interest and confer with each other on ideas, descriptions, camo, etc...This is an amazing pasttime, and JAYMZ has made it more fun for others. I am jealous that he is not nearby me so we could cache together...( plus there are a few tree hides that I won't risk myself) I think his GEO_buddies should buy him a trip to visit his sister in Florida!! He's well on his way to 2000, cangrats again,"
