Geocache Description:

!!! CT Cachers Rock !!!.

This journey takes you to the old Barlow Sawmill site along Bigelow Brook. The mill appears to have been built in the mid-to-late 1700s.

Bigelow Brook is formed in Union, Connecticut at the outflow of Mashapaug Lake. Bigelow Brook flows south and serves as the border between the towns of Ashford and Eastford, Connecticut. Bigelow Brook eventually ends at its confluence with the Still River, forming the Natchaug River. Bigelow Brook is a popular fishing spot with the locals. While there, check out the old well at the below coordinates.

Hunters likely frequent this area. Use caution and wear that blaze orange.

!!! As always, enjoy the adventure !!!
