This was the route our neighbor traveled, hauling hay with Belgians and wagon or sleigh (depending on the season) from Lakeview golf course, before it was a golf course. The village of Shoreham once had four stores, two gas stations, two drive-ins a night club, a hotel three resorts, a lodge, a chapel and two tennis courts.
