A quick grab in an old out of the way cemetery. As with all Michigan Cemeteries, no night caching.
Experianced some signal bounce, so please let us know if the coords seem a little off.
Bertrand Catholic Cemetery - Oldest known stone in the cemetery is Madeline Bertrand – died 1845 wf of Joseph Bertrand
Use was basically discontinued in about 1891 when a newer cemetery in Niles was offered for burials.
Many of the burials were marked with wooden markers and when the DAR took a tally in the 1920's they were informed that a fire had burned many of the wooden markers, leaving the graves unmarked.
