The cache is located in the Murray Sunset National Park. The easiest access is from the Mallee Highway along the Pink Lakes road which runs into the Mt Crozier Track. There is a camping ground at the base of the Mount. The cache is a small cammoed plastic container with a log and pencil.
The camping ground can be reached using a four wheel drive along a sandy track. This is a remote area requiring a good supply of fuel, water and maps as well as letting someone know of your plans. Care with children on climbing the hill as well as watching out for the slithering creatures especially when it is hot.
The views from the hill are extensive and spectacular despite its height of only 103 metres. The walk from the camp site is approximately 150 metres.
