Find a Marion County Public Library System geocache and cache in! Be a true library lover and visit all nine library locations to collect a new token/trinket (while supplies last.) Log your find in the provided logbook as well as online at Geocaching.com!

Notify a library staff member if leaving a travel bug. They have gone missing in the past, and we are trying to keep a better eye on them to help them meet their goals!
This is a fun, multi-level cache... the beginning is located outside, but the final stage is inside the library.
The final stage of the cache is only available during library hours which are:
Monday-Friday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
It may take a little bit of time to find the cache, so keep operating hours in mind when planning your trip.
The Marion Oaks Public Library was truly the result of a grassroots effort to provide public library service in the Marion Oaks community. The Friends of the Library group raised funds, found space in the Community Building where the library is currently housed, bought furnishings and books, and staffed the library with volunteers with a goal to become part of the library system. In 1996 their efforts paid off, and the Marion Oaks Public Library joined the regional system. Since that time children's library programs have flourished, and public computer use has been enhanced.
