Geocache Description:

A quick cache 'n dash at Livingston Village Kirk. Wheelchair and pushchair friendly with plenty parking available close by.

Exactly five years to the day, we found our first cache here, GC19MBJ.  I couldn't get a short name when I signed up so foolishly chose the unwieldy "Hobgoblinkiteflier" and was then pleasantly surprised to find a cache less than a mile from home.  We found it and were immediately hooked - "where's the next one?".  Geocaching has taken us to many interesting places and we have made lots of good friends, so we are happy to commemorate our "caching anniversary" by hiding a new cache here.

This memorial Celtic cross was erected in memory of 25 employees of the Dean Works who died in the Great War, erected by their fellow workmen.  Those 13 who perished in WW2 have been added to the rear face of the cross by The British Legion, Womens Section and friends Livingston Station.  Even though this cache falls into the cache 'n dash category, I hope you will stand silently for a moment and appreciate what all these names stand for.
