Geocache Description:


The Queen and Court’s job is to promote Pella, especially Tulip Time. The Pella Historical Society graciously compensates each girl on the Royal Court for their time and efforts each year. Once again this year, Marion County Bank will be offering a scholarship to each of the court members. These scholarships are meant to help defray some personal expenses. Each girl is encouraged to limit the number of spring functions she plans to participate in as the Queen and Court make 25-30 appearances prior to Tulip Time, some of which are in Des Moines and the surrounding areas.
