Geocache Description:

There are some beautiful views from up here. You can easily see as far as the Tacking Point Lighthouse to the north. This one is not about the cache, it's about the destination. Sorry about the size. The terrain is 2 because it is a short walk down the grassy slope from the main road, or a bit more of an effort up from the surfclub carpark. The immediate GZ is only a terrain of 1.

Most people were unfamiliar with the "Greenhills" area, the beaches and the beautiful headlands around here until after the second world war. Some lucky ones had discovered it though, during the depression of the 1930's, when Bonny Hills was also nicknamed "Creamy" (??)

The sculpture here is named "Spindrift" and is by Mary Tyquin. It was comissioned in 2004
