An excellent track with extensive coastal views. If walking the loop the beach return can only be accessed 3 hours each side of low tide. Park at the Mangawhai surf club. Walk north on beach for about 15 minutes to track start where you will find the first cache. Continue up the hill track for the other caches.
Elevation. 84 metres. Great view of the Island from here. Cache number 7 is out of sequence as we had to move it from the first choice. A large pill container with log book. BYOP.
