Er ist extrem schwer mit einer Stelle E die ihn zum schwierigsten Klettersteig im Rax-Schneeberg-Gebiet machen.
Der Gesamtanspruch ist wegen der zwingenden Kletterpassagen sehr hoch, auch das alte dünne Stahlseil läst den Adrenalinspiegel zusätzlich ansteigen. Er führt durch eine fast senkrechte Höhle die sehr eng und rutschig ist und an dessen Ende man auf die äußerste Westseite der Preinerwandplatte quert. Hier ist es fast immer sehr windig! Grandiose Tiefblicke und äußerste Anstrengungen sind garantiert.
Der Ausgangspunkt ist der Einstieg des Haid-Steigs.
Du kannst nun wählen zwischen:
+ Aufstieg über Haid-Steig bis zur Madonna, dann Querung über Karl-Berger-Steig (3-, Seilsicherung) bis zum mittleren Malersteig, am Einstieg des KS-Steigs vorbei weiter absteigen bis zum Beginn des Malersteigs (Gedenktafel zur Beantwortung der Fragen)
+ vorbei am Haid-Steig auf rot markiertem Holzknechtsteig zum Einstieg des Malersteigs (Gedenktafel zur Beantwortung der Fragen), Aufstieg über Malersteig bis zum Einstieg KS-Steig (2+, keine Versicherung)
+ die herausfordernste und schönste Variante wäre den Haid-Steig zu klettern und dabei den Cache Schwarze Madonna zu besuchen und den Hinweis zum Multi Cache Steiler Aufi´ zu notieren, anschließend zum Preinerwandkreuz wandern und den gleichnamigen Cache Preinerwandkreuz besuchen, danach zum Cache Zur Seehütte und über den Holzknechtsteig (Holzknechtschütt) bis zum Einstieg Malersteig (Gedenktafel zur Lösung der Fragen) absteigen und den KS-Steig zu klettern
Da ihr wahrscheinlich vom Aufstieg etwas müde und erschöpft sein werdet, solltet ihr euch etwas ausruhen und Kräfte sammeln. Damit es nicht langweilig wird habe ich ein paar Aufgaben zum errechnen der Cache Koordinaten für euch.
Beim Einstieg zum Malersteig hängen mehrere Gedenktafeln. Eine davon ist Herrn Carl Berger gewidmet. Mit Hilfe dieser Tafel löst du folgende Aufgaben:
Wandle die oberen 3 großen Wörter in Zahlen um (a=1,b=2...) und nenne die Quersumme daraus A.
Verfahre mit dem Namen der alpinen Gesellschaft ("d´...")genauso. Alle Buchstaben in den Gänsefüsschen sind umzuwandeln und die Quersumme nennst du B.
Als letztes zählst du alle Buchstaben der Tafel. Diese Zahl nennst du C.
Hast du dir die 3 Zahlen notiert? Dann noch etwas Rechnerei und die Kletterpartie kann beginnen.
N1=N+(A*3)-54
E1=E-B+6
C*14+40 m Seehöhe
Für weitere Infos über die Topo und den Steig bzw. den Anfahrtsweg solltest du dir diese Seite mal anschauen.
Dieser Klettersteig erfordert absolute Trittsicherheit, Schwindelfreiheit und Kletterkönnen. Eine komplette Klettersteigausrüstung, Helm, Handschuhe und wenn möglich Kletterschuhe sind Pflicht.
Ich empfehle noch einige Karabiner und eine kurze Bandschlinge einzupacken um sich unterwegs einhängen und rasten zu können.
Der Cache selbst ist eine Tupperdose mit einem Logbuch, einem Bleistift und Platz für TB und GC.

The starting point is the getting in of the Haid path.

This climbing path requires absolute kick safety, swindle liberty and climbing knowledge. A complete climbing path equipment, helmet, gloves and climbing shoes are duty if possible.
I still recommend wrapping up some carbines and a short ribbon loop to be able to put himself in away and to rest.
The cache itself is a container with a logbook, a pencil and place for TB and GC.
