This stretch of M-119, running between Harbor Springs and Cross Village, is known for its breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and its colorful woodlands, especially in the fall of the year. It is designated as a state Scenic Heritage Route. Because of the many curves in the road, the traffic speed is reduced.
