It's moments like these you need Minties!!! You might want to take a packet with you when you attempt this cache - not difficult just frustrating. Have fun - we sure did making it!

This famous advertising slogan has become part of Kiwi culture. For the uninitiated, Minties are a hard chewy white mint nougat wrapped in white, red & green waxed wrappers and another NZ icon (though originally made in Australia in 1922). The NZ Minties were made in Auckland from 1930 to 2009. Now they are made in Thailand and a 'softer' formula as the 'hard' Mintie was notorious for causing fillings to come out while being chewed. People often compete with each other in tearing the wrapper, which is square when laid flat, into the longest single strip.
