M&M's LoLLY ScRaMbLe
A weekend drive in the country led to the idea of a trail here and the theme was inspired by The Lolly Bag Loop caches by Too Dogs in NSW Australia, who have created a loop of favourite lollies from childhood.
A Lolly Scramble is a common Kiwi and Australian phrase which refers to the act where a mixture of lollies (candies) are scattered and children scramble to get their share. We think we’ve put out a good selection of favourites and are sure you’ll find something you like in M&M's lolly scramble.
So… grab your GPSr, friends and a pen, and come and get your share!
Sweet Shop
Who can remember that intense excitment as you headed for the nearest sweet shop with your pocket money for that first 20 cent mix (now $2). Then we had all those hard decisions to make; shall I get one of those, or two? Shall I get a chocolate-coated one or not? Sour or not? Think of the poor shopkeepers who had to wait for these decisions to be made, child by child... or sometimes adult!
Such sweet, "sweet" memories...
