Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to the opening of the new Mariinsky theatre stage, Mariinsky-2 on May 2^nd, 2013.

Mariisnsky theatre has a long history of more than two hundred years. Many of the world famous Russian opera singers and ballet dancers have performed upon its stage. To this day the theatre remains as one of the most representative institutions of Russian art industry.
