This geocache is found on a public footpath just outside the village of Ponsanooth.
It's located on a lovely peaceful walk with some great views of the surrounding area.
There is limited parking on the side of the road at the T junction near the start of the path, Ponsanooth end. The recommended option is to park in Ponsanooth, then walk up Cot hill past the Kennall Vale nature reserve (well worth a visit), out of the village, following it until the T junction, then turn left. The footpath starts on a sharp bend on the right and is marked.
Ponsanooth has a great village shop for your supplies for the day and a pub to finish up in after your hard days exploits!
The site had an abundance of oak apples (round growths on oak tree branches made by a parasitic wasp) when placed, hence the name.
The micro sized plastic container is very well hidden. Please put back carefully.
