It's now been a year since we first set the Bluebell Walk and then extended it Beyond the Woods. The series has proved to be quite popular for new and experienced cachers. Container is bigger than nano but not as big as micro
Unfortunately we had to disable several caches due to the local farmer removing caches faster than they were being found and finding out the road we used was private which stopped it being a circular walk. So the time has come now the bluebells are out to REVISIT BLUEBELL WOOD and BEYOND. This new walk will take you away from the farm on a slightly different route via the new and improved Beacon Park. This area if full of birds and wildlife please keep to the path ways as much as possible. The walk will take you through the woodland that comes to life with bluebells every year and lots of perfect places for photos along the way. With the walk now longer you will need to walk along the road between a couple of cache’s, there is the added bonus for those with smaller children as it passes a park, you will need to cross a couple of smaller roads and also take a short walk along the main road which has a very wide path. We try to place caches in areas that are child friendly and as safe as possible, having 4 young children in the tribe who all helped us place the caches we would n't expect anyone to take their children anywhere we wouldn't take ours. This walk is a little bumpy in places but is suitable for most buggies, however there are a couple of styles that will require them being lifted over. We come to these woods regularly (not just for maintenance) and the kids love it and we hope you will too. Happy caching
