Geocache Description:

The cache you’re looking for is a pretzel jar with a log and some of the usual swag items. We tried to add a couple of things kids might enjoy. It shouldn’t be tough to find but it’s probably not wheelchair accessible. There is some poison oak so pay attention, but you should easily access the cache without getting into it.

This is where the Norway Sprint’s grandparents lived when she was a little girl. Her grandfather planted the tree this cache is hidden under. It is originally from his property in Rio Del California. If you’re here in the spring time you’ll notice the odd locations of the daffodils, they weren’t oddly located when grandma Brodie planted them in the yard around the two story house that once stood on this property.  When this tree was just a sapling the walnut tree 40’ north of the cache location was the dominant item in the front yard. The Norway Sprint, her brothers, cousins, and some of the neighbor kids hung out here, climbed the walnut tree, played in grandpa’s goldfish pond, and sometimes crossed the road to the north to climb the apple and pear trees in grandpa’s orchard.
