Aberdeen is a swim/tennis community located in Suwanee, Georgia. The development is in south Forsyth County nestled between Fulton and Gwinnett counties. This centralized location provides our homeowners with access to all shopping, entertainment, restaurants, and sport venues of the tri-county area. The location also provides access to major interstates; Georgia 400, Interstate 85, for easy commuting. Aberdeen contains over 400 homes ranging in price from the low 200's to the low 400's.
The community began in the late 80’s as a 350 acre hardwood forest and has flourished into 400 single-family homes. Five sections cumulatively create Aberdeen, each with it’s own uniquely distinct architectural features. The developer named the community Aberdeen wanting to evoke the peaceful rural countryside of Great Britain and Scotland. All streets were given names from English villages, and the stone entrance gates and clubhouse continue the theme. The community was developed with preservation in mind. Viewing the overall landscape one could see a rolling terrain with a beautiful mature hardwood forrest throughout the community. The two entrances are laden with impeccably manicured seasonal flowers and foliage to accent the naturally beautiful terrain. The developer kept the natural beauty of the foothills of the north Georgia Mountains in the development of Aberdeen.
