Dear cache owner,

I have been going through caches that have multiple "DNF" (did not find) logs, which is often a sign that a cache is missing, or with the "NeedsArchive" log, which means there are unsolved problems. Generally, cachers avoid hunting a cache with many DNF logs or problems, so it is a good idea for the Cache Owner to check the cache and either replace it or post a log to the cache page to tell fellow geocachers that the cache is still there.

No action by the cache owner may result in a cache being archived to keep the cache from appearing in local Pocket Queries.

Thank you for your understanding.

Geocache Description:

Ilissos river is one of the two rivers of Athens, which stems from the northwestern slopes of Mount Hymettus and passes southeast of ancient Athens concluding in Phalericon cove. In ancient time was considered as a sacred river. It was believed that Muses lived in the banks of the river.
According to Greek mythology, in this river came to rest the wind Voreas, when he realized the beautiful daughter of Erechtheus Oreityia grabbed her into his big fins and kidnapped her in Sarpidonio cape in Thrace.
Close to the banks of the river it was a big plane tree where Socrates used to visit with his students.
Opposite of todays church of Agia Fotini was the fountain of Callirhoe which, according to Pausanias, was the only source in ancient Athens with good and drinkable water.
This place is the only part of the river that is remain uncovered.

The container is a lock 'n lock cylindrical box with a logbook, a geocache declaration and few items to trade. Please put it back as you found it. Avoid to visit the place Sunday morning due to divine service. Please bring your own pen.
