How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A series of five caches taking you on a walk around the loch. All caches are log only, and no rooms for swaps.
PLEASE BRING A PEN.

Beecraigs is a long established, sheltered, 20 acre, chalk spring loch. The loch is open throughout the year and is regularly stocked with quality Rainbow Trout.

The lochside path is suitable for buggies for the southern and western sections, but there is a series of steps on the eastern side of the loch which may be difficult to get buggies and prams up/down.
Caches are just off the paths, so the last few metres will be uneven terrain.

Parking available at the visitors centre, or at the loch carpark.
Why not park at the visitors centre and take the Sutherland Way down to the loch, were you can see the Highland cattle and the deer.
