Geocache Description:

This cache is placed a short distance off East Brown Canyon Rd.  The road is private, until you enter the National Forest, but owners allow use. Beyond the homes the road becomes very rough requiring a stout 4x4 or ATV type vehicle. Parking is not allowed along the road until past the homes. It is best to hike the road.

The container is a small spice bottle painted a dark color. Buswhacking is not necessary to find this cache. Leave Brown Canyon Road when you are approximately 90 degrees from the cache and you will find the area between the road and the cache to be very open. Remember how you get to the cache so you can return to the road directly and not get disoriented. It contains only the log so take along a pencil or pen. Brown Canyon Road is popular with hikers and mountain bikers so you may meet a few.
